Russia

In Russia and surrounding countries drinking has been a serious matter since the early times. Alcohol drinking has been part of Russians’ lifestyle for centuries and this is not only to extinguish the cold weather effects or diseases on the body but also it has served as a mental comforter for Russians from some of the horrors of daily life.

It also has been inspiration and courage source to face the day by day in a difficult running land. People seem to do much more drinking in public places than in pubs and bars, probably because of the prices, and possibly also because of the loud music.
