Fruit & Herbs Wines
A fruit wine is made from any fermented fruit other than grapes, so legally it should not be called "wine", therefore in France you will find it as Vin de Pays and in UK as Country Wine.
It does not contain any fruit flavors addition but the natural fermented fruit, fermentation techniques may vary depending on each winemaker, but often is under cold conditions to maximize the concentration of fruit; resulting into a very delicate balanced fruit wine with natural acidity and residual sugar.
There are also fortified spirits, which are called "wines" made from aromatic herbs or spices.
