Canadian Whisky
Whisky in Canada is more like a result spirit of blending many types of grain whiskies with a high percentage of rye as ingredient. Very often this whisky is offered as a "Rye", which is even officially designated on the labels. Nevertheless in flavor and aroma differs quite a lot from Rye American Whiskey. Due to its smoothness Canadian whisky has been called 'the brown vodka'.
The best Canadian whisky is spicy, bitter-sweet and characterized by the aging time in the barrels.
