Schnapps

From the German word 'Schnaps', meaning "a mouthful", is a type of distilled spirit that contains at least 32% alcohol with no sugar added, it's made from a variety of fermented fruit or fruit juices and potato or grain based liquors. It's known around the world as a strong alcoholic beverage.

Note:

In America, schnapps is known as cordials, which are sweetened flavored liqueurs and are typically used in cocktails.

There are many types of schnapps, derived from juices of real fruit, or made from aromatic herbs, roots, stalks, plants, and other ingredients. For our easier understanding I have classified them like follows:
