Barolo Chinato is a fortified wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy, made from old
Barolo wine with spices such as the bark from the local cinchona tree, and flavored with a variety of ingredients, depending on the producer's unique recipe. Some Barolo Chinatos may include coriander, irish flowers, mint, cinnamon, and vanilla. It is usually served as a digestif.
