Sweden is a country with a lot of Russian influence, in what about drinking culture refers. Hard liquor is consumed as much as the most popular drinks here, which are coffee and milk.

Schnapps, Aquavit and Vodka are Swedish drinks controlled by the state monopoly called Systembolaget, which has strictly enforced rules and applied pretty high prices when buying legally;). These spirits are served icy cold to accompany the traditional "smorgasbord". Swedish beer is mostly pilsner style with very low alcohol content known as "Lättol" for light beer, and "Folköl" for a stronger brew.
