Martini & Rossi

Martini is the most popular brand of Italian vermouth created in the mid 1800's in Turin by a partnership between two skilled men, Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi. Their vermouth traditionally consisted of four main ingredients: wine, botanicals, sugar and alcohol, it appeared in different versions from red and sweet to white and extra dry. 

 

Martini Vermouth Styles

Martini Rosso

Martini Rosso, Red Vermouth, is bitter-sweet in character, the amber-brown color is attributable to the addition of caramel.

Martini Bianco

Martini Bianco, White Vermouth, with it's slightly sweeter vanilla overtones was first introduced during the 1910's.
