Hungary has a very long history in the elaboration of both of the most popular alcoholic drinks here: Wine and Liquor.

This history dates back to at least Roman times, when the Romans brought the vines to Pannonia and by the 5th century there were already extensive vineyards producing Hungarian Wine. 

The alcoholic drink distilled from fruit has been always a part of any Hungarian social event, called Pálinka is a native spirit to Hungary and it is nowadays appreciated worldwide.
