Saint Raphaël
Description
Saint-Raphaël is an aperitif made from a blend of mistelle, which is produced by adding alcohol to non-fermented or partially fermented grape juice, and flavored with various flavorings such as quinine, bitter orange, vanilla pods, cacao beans, and aromatic plants.
History
Saint-Raphaël was created in 1830 by Doctor Juppet, who named this aperitif L'Archange Raphaël, it was quickly marketed in France and then the rest of the world.
