Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabians are extremely conservative and religious people. Islam religion plays an important role in most of the Saudi people, reason why, alcoholic drinks market for manufacturers and producers does not exist.

There are no bars since alcohol is forbidden by law, all type of alcoholic beverages are strictly forbidden throughout the country and there are severe penalties for infringement, foreigners involved in producing booze are also punished by days in jail and deportation.

The popular alternative drinks are: Arabic Coffee and Fruit Drinks. In hotel bars alcohol free beers and cocktails are served. However there are confused explanations of Islamic or Shariah law and misunderstandings about it since alcohol is consumed illegally. In any case, Saudi Arabia is not a country with alcohol culture.
